Dinorah Varsi ( 1939 - 2013 ) was born in Montevideo, Uruguay. After school in Uruguay she studied with renowned pianists Leonard Shure and Geza Anda. She recorded for Philips with works by Brahms, Franck, Schumann and Chopin.
