Andrei Nikolsky ( 1959 - 1995 ) was born in Moscow, Russia. He studied at the Moscow Conservatory under Henrich Neuhaus. He performed well in various competitions including first prize in the 1987 Queen Elisabeth competition. He recorded works by Chopin and Rachmaninov before prematurely dying in a car accident.
