Nikita Magaloff ( 1912 - 1992 ) was born in Saint Petersburg, Russia. He studied with Alexander Siloti and Isidor Philipp at the Paris Conservatory. He was the first to record the complete works of Chopin. He is considered one of the greatest pianists of the 20th century.
