Lambert Orkis ( 1946 ) was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He is primarily an accompanist pianist. He collaborated for years with renowned cellist Mstislav Rostropovich and subsequently with renowned violinist Anne-Sophie Mutter. His recordings include works by Brahms, Beethoven and Mozart.
