Luba Edlina ( 1930 - 2018 ) was born in Kharkiv, Ukraine. She studied at the Moscow Conservatory with Yakov Flier, and helped establish the Borodin Trio with her husband Rostislav Duvinsky. As part of this trio she recorded works by many russian composers such as Shostakovich, Rachmaninoff and Myaskosky.
