François-Joël Thiollier ( 1943 ) was born in Paris, France. His studies included Julliard and the Paris Conservatory with Robert Casadesus. He finished 2nd in the Busoni competition and he concertized all over the world. His recordings include works by Debussy, Rachmaninov, Ravel and Busoni.
