Janina Fialkowska ( 1951 ) was born in Montreal, Canada. Her studies included École Vincent-d'Indy in Montreal, and Juilliard School. She had success in both the CBC Young Performers Competition and the first Arthur Rubinstein competition. She recorded for RCA and Atma Classique. She has recorded works by Liszt, Chopin and Schubert.
