Richard Rodney Bennett ( 1936 - 2012 ) was an English composer. He studied at the prestigious Royal Academy of Music. His concerto was recorded by the renowned pianist Stephen Kovacevich. He has many solo piano works, the most famous of which are his Five Studies.
