Alexander Gurning ( 1973 ) was born in Belgium. He studied at the Royal Conservatory in Brussels. He subsequently studied at the Moscow Conservatory with Victor Merzhanov. Renowned pianist Martha Argerich would present him as part of her EMI Argerich presents series. His recordings include works by Stravinsky, Debussy, and Bach.
