Arnaldo Cohen ( 1948 ) was born in Rio de Janiero, Brazil. Although he began his career as a violinist he switched to piano and in 1972 he won first prize in the Busoni competition which gave his name prominence. He recorded works by Liszt, Beethoven and various Brazilian composers.
